The work package covers resource to manage the project.
Technical Management activity (Task 1) aims at setting an on-going steering of the project vision and driving the project partners beyond current state of the art.
The second activity, Administrative and Financial Management (Task 2), deals with task scheduling, decision making, conflict resolutions, reporting, periodic meetings and budget tracking and controlling.
Monitoring and evaluation (Task 3) oversees the quality of deliverables, the monitoring of indicators, adherence of the consortium’s activities to principles of ethics and liaison with external stakeholders to provide external input into the project.
The most important forum, where project progress and regular reporting on evaluation will be mentioned is project partner meetings that will be arranged approximately every six month according to the timetable and needs for partner’s decision making about specific activities. The project leader and employee dealing with finances will first take part in the Kick off meeting organized by EC. The project kick-off meeting will take place in the first month of the project. These meetings will give the information about the project progress and the quality of deliverables. Telecommunication facilities will be used for decision-making on urgent issues between meetings. All decisions will be taken based on mutual consent. In the exceptional case where consent cannot be reached within a reasonable timeframe, voting procedures will be applied. Each partner will have one vote. In a situation where a split vote occurs, then the co-ordinator vote will be the deciding factor.
Task 1: Technical Management
This task provides the technical leadership and vision to the project. It involves steering the project vision and driving the consortium far beyond the current state of the art. It chairs the brain-storming handling of aspects of partner and community intellectual property rights.
Task 2: Administrative and Financial Management
This activity provides the administrative and financial management of the project. It covers: division of labour among the consortium partners and among the project team in the partner organization, schedule and budget goal-setting and tracking, decision making, conflict resolution, reporting, overseeing periodic meetings and work sessions.
Task 3: Quality Assurance (monitoring and on-going evaluation)
This task deals with planning and overseeing quality of the project deliverables, the monitoring of indicators. This activity also provides liaisons to external stakeholders for feedback and quality assurance purposes:
- Partner will evaluate draft program for the training on mediation for participants working with Roma population (social workers, teachers, Roma representatives and activists, NGO’s, municipal civil servants, health civil servants, police and courts officials). Project partner will attend training courses in all project countries;
- Project partner will evaluate the plan of work for Roma mediator and his/her door-to-door visits to Roma households;
- Partner will evaluate draft prevention programs for children of 12, 13, 14 years. Partner will later evaluate the execution of the programs in partner countries;
- Partner will evaluate discussion round tables in the local communities and discussion round tables for Roma women in partner countries.
